2 alarm house fire in West Bridgewater

Just after 2:30 AM, West Bridgewater firefighters responded to a house fire at the intersection of Bryant Street and South Street. The fire appears to have started in the basement of the house and extended upward into the attic. Just after 3:00 AM, a second alarm was struck, and firefighters were forced to pull out of the house, putting water on it from the outside. Firefighters spent most of the night attempting to bring the fire under control. It is unknown if anyone was home at the time.
