Medflight, jaws of life used after car crashes into tree in Dunstable
A woman was seriously injured this morning after the car she was in crashed into a tree in the 400 block of River St. in Dunstable. The car sustained heavy damage, and firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to free a 20 year old woman who was trapped inside. An advanced life support ambulance transported the patient to the Southern NH Regional Medical Center, where a trauma team had been activated. Her injuries were severe enough to require a more advanced level of care, and she was flown by Medflight helicopter to Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.
